One of the problems house cleaners experience is the need to clean behind or under  furniture.  Typically, a house cleaning service will clean around the furniture but will not move it and for good reasons.  Just a few of the reasons are:   moving the furniture can scratch the floor.  The furniture is too heavy.  Items in the furniture might break.

If you would like your home cleaning service to clean under or behind  furniture than  you would need to negotiate that in your contract.  Most services do not provide the service even upon negotiation.

So, if you do find a house cleaning service  that will clean behind or under furniture they will probably require you to move the furniture for them before the house cleaners arrive.   There are some handy products at hardware stores that can assist you in making it much easier to move your furniture and to prevent scratches on the floors.

They are little flat cups or pads that go under the corners or legs of the furniture and they glide along as you move the furniture.    This will make it so the house cleaning service can clean in those harder to reach areas for you if you can negotiate this with them in the house cleaning contract.
